Choosing the best video editing services for your unique needs is really worth some time and effort.

Video is king in marketing, entertainment, advertising, and even education. And there are good reasons for that. We’re 85% more likely to remember what we see in a video than what we read about. It’s no wonder online videos already make up more than 82.5% of all internet traffic.

Which isn’t really a surprise: YouTube is the world’s second-most visited site after Google itself, and video-heavy social media from TikTok to Instagram follow immediately behind. Today, countless people are earning a part- or full-time income off platforms like YouTube and TikTok. The elite are making millions.

The challenge is that editing videos takes time and skill – lots of it. AI editing tools are fast, and even flashy, but ultimately mediocre. This is where video editing services come in. By letting the pros handle it, you can make the best of your footage, fast.

It’s the age of video – and by outsourcing the editing, you can get creating without wasting a ton of time and nerves.

In this article, you’ll learn what to look for in a good video editing service, and which are the best on the market right now.

Impatient? Skip straight to the list of the best video editing services in 2026!

Key Takeaways

Keep reading for criteria and the list!

Why Do You Need Video Editing Services?

There are two main reasons to outsource video editing: Saving time, and getting better quality, which means more engagement.

Video Editing Services Save Time

Let’s talk about time first. Very roughly, it takes 30 minutes to an hour to edit a single minute of video. A five-minute clip easily takes a full day or more to finish. And that’s not counting the hundreds of hours you’d spend to become a pro at editing footage.

Creators, if you’re serious about your YouTube channel or TikTok profile, you have to think like an entrepreneur. Likewise, if you work for a company that wants to see a ROI on video, it’s worth doing it right. And if you want to build your personal brand as a founder, a coach or thought leader – why sink so much of your day into it?

And so, while you’re working on monetizing or on coming up with content ideas, you just don’t have that kind of time. Professional editors, on the other hand, can work efficiently and within tight time limits, which streamlines your production.

Video Editors Give You Better Quality

Quality is the other big reason to go with a video editing service. Video editors will consistently produce high-quality content, even if your footage isn’t ideal. That makes all the difference between building your audience and losing it.

If you want to upload several videos per month, what you gain in time and in the quantity of your creative output quickly outweighs the cost of hiring a video editor.

Next, let’s discuss what the signs of a good video editing service are.

What Should You Look for To Find the Best Video Editing Services?

When you’re searching for a good video editing service, there are a few things to look at. The most important are:

  • What features and services do they offer?
  • How is the quality of their work?
  • What do the reviews and testimonials look like?
  • And, of course: What’s their pricing?

Service Range & Features

First, make sure your candidate’s offer fits your requirements. For example, some video editing services will happily give you branded intros and outros, animations, voice-overs, subtitles, royalty-free music and stock footage. Many others do not.

In the following example, you can see a few of these elements in use:

Youtube video

Quality Criteria

Next, take a close look at the quality of their work and the reviews past clients have left.

Reputable video editing services will have a video portfolio on their website. You should look out especially for:

  • Smooth transitions
  • Clear sound editing
  • High-resolution video
  • Color correction
  • Glaringly obvious AI use

Then, check on sites like Trustpilot and Google ratings to see if people praise a certain company, or have complained about problems. Many video editing services proudly display testimonials from satisfied clients.

Testimonials by satisfied creators are a great sign.

Service Terms & Limits

Finally, check the fine print for things like:

  • How fast can the editors deliver a first draft?
  • How many revisions of that first draft are included in the price?
  • How much footage can you upload?

For instance, quite a few services advertise “unlimited video editing” – and actually apply a bunch of restrictions. You can put in unlimited orders, but they’ll be worked on sequentially. You’ll also often see a maximum length for your final video, and on raw footage lengths and size.

Pricing & Pricing Models

In terms of pricing, there are three main models:

  • video editing subscription services
  • video editing packages
  • hourly rates

video editing subscription may pay off in the long run if you want to upload a set number of videos a month. Then, they may be the more economic choice for you.

However, if you need even a little flexibility, opting for packages is better. Here, you pay per video, though there’s often also a bulk discount. Another advantage is that orders can be processed simultaneously.

Hourly rates usually come with the fewest restrictions, and may be useful for one-off or highly complex projects.

All that said, here are our 30 top picks for the best video editing services in 2026.

The team at Tasty Edits takes pride in producing high-quality videos. Their experienced editors handle your projects with a personal touch

They also stand out for their flexibility with plans and prices. Whether it’s a simple jump cut or complex editing packages, traditional clip or vertical short video – Tasty Edits has you covered.

The company has put a lot of thought and effort into making the whole process painless. VOMA, their custom-coded Video Order Management Application, centralizes the entire workflow of ordering a video edit: submitting the initial order, uploading files, communicating with editors, checking out drafts, requesting revisions, and payment – all on a single, hassle-free platform.

This, together with dedicated editors and thumbnail artists, makes for a seamless production process and gives you back valuable time.

In keeping with this philosophy, Tasty Edits also offers a first-class YouTube channel management service, taking even more routine work off creators’ hands.

Replayed

London-based Replayed.co takes second place on our list because they are well-suited for highly complex edits where price isn’t an issue. To make sure that what you get is what you actually wanted, they also offer a short sample edit.

Replayed’s pricing is based on raw footage length. If you’ve got less than 15 minutes, they’ll charge you $39 per hour of work. 15–35 minutes are a flat $279, 35–60 minutes are $559. Above that, it’s per hour of footage.

There are no subscriptions or discounted bundles, but you can pick between cheaper junior editors and regular ones. Replayed prides itself on a large roster of editors that they’ll pair you up with using an AI tool.

Depending on the edit complexity, turnaround time starts at same-day and goes up from there.

Video Husky

Video Husky grew from a focus on ‘talking head’ videos to a broader mix of styles. Though they recently dropped their entry-level pricing tier, they are overall still one of the more affordable video editing services on this list.

Video Husky has a project management portal to help you keep an overview of your orders, and offers a video commenting feature to help you give feedback on drafts.

Video Husky, like other “unlimited” subscription services, will work on videos one-at-a-time. If you need many videos fast, you’ll need to add extra subscriptions. Its business hours are Philippines-based.

Flocksy

Flocksy is an established creatives service. Besides video editing, the company offers graphic design, custom illustrations, copywriting, voice-overs, animations, and web design. They’re also great if you decide you don’t just need an editor, but go big with a full team for your project.

It’s not a budget option, though – Flocksy is geared towards small and mid-size businesses rather than YouTube beginners.

Flocksy works as a monthly subscription. This used to have three flat-rate tiers. Now, it is based on the number of hours they’ll reserve for your tasks per business day. This means video editing is now also included in the least expensive offer (two hours/day), unlike previously.

The 4-hour and 6-hour offers add a project coordinator and an art director to your team, respectively.

FixThePhoto

As the name suggests, FixThePhoto is better known for its budget photo editing service. However, it also offers video editing with the same workflow.

This agency employs a large number of editors, which means that they’ll always have a specialist for your niche on hand. You’ll always get the basics – image stabilization, color correction, sound adjustments, cuts and transitions – but also what’s required for a number of more narrow uses. For instance, FixThePhoto is one of the few generalist services to also edit wedding videos.

However, you’ll actually mostly communicate with the editors’ managers. If you can live with that, they are a decent budget pick.

Vimerse

Next up on our list is Vimerse, a newer contender in the video editing arena – and one specialized in editing footage for creators

Vimerse’s portfolio is focused on videos for YouTubers and TikTokers. They’re pros at editing vertical and horizontal content in niches ranging from fashion and meditation to cooking and gaming.

Plus, Vimerse offers a first video edit for free, including a free thumbnail and one revision.

One downside of Vimerse is that its team is very small. That means their capacity for taking on clients and delivering orders on time is somewhat limited.

Also, pricing is hourly, with rates starting at $14. This is a low-end offer, but it does make budgeting for your projects a little more tricky.

Dava Marketing

Dava has set itself up as a complete social video agency for creators. Accordingly, they offer a large range of services for video content creatives, including video editing, thumbnailing, Shorts editing and other design work. There’s a big portfolio of past videos to check out, and they have done work for some pretty big names.

With its premium positioning, however, their website is big on vision and small on detail. For pricing details you’re probably best off asking for a quote. They’re likely not the best choice for a small channel.

In previous years, while pricing was available, it was consistently one of the most expensive on our list of best video editing companies.

Dava Marketing Pricing

Weplash

Weplash is an outsourcing agency based in Latin America. The basic promise is this: You get the same responsiveness and business hours as with US-based staff. Except cheaper (and for Latino languages).

The full offer is unlimited marketing services, and it’s geared towards startups and entrepreneurs. This includes graphic and web design, ad campaigns, strategy consulting – and video editing.

Apart from a few package deals (like the one-off Logo and Brand Design offer for $1,999), most services are separate, unlimited subscriptions. These are essentially dedicated designers and editors for you, plus a manager.

Video editing in particular is a $1,999/month subscription, with unlimited requests and revisions. There is also a $499/month YouTube add-on that gets you direct uploads and SEO titles and descriptions.

Project management and communication happen via Asana and Slack.

Weplash Pricing

Video Caddy

Video Caddy is an Indian video outsourcing service. Apart from video editing, they also offer audio editing, storyboarding, and 2D/3D animation.

The company is geared more towards businesses than individual creators – some specialties are product videos and real estate tours – but their range is huge. For instance, they’re one of few general editing companies that will cut wedding videos.

There are no packages or subscriptions as such. Instead, video editing cost is based on hourly rates starting at $12, and you’ll get a cost estimate. They do also offer other pricing models (ask for a quote). If you don’t require in-depth edits, Video Caddy could be your budget option.

Veedyou

Romania-based Veedyou is another good all-round video editing company. They’re geared towards personal and small business needs, though they also have some solopreneur and enterprise clients.

They favor a personal touch – you won’t find pre-calculated packages here, and they’re always ready for a chat about your needs.

Note that while Veedyou does not list pricing on its website, they do say in a blog post that across their 2022 projects, the average video cost was $325. The homepage does have two example quotes.

Spivo

Spivo is a bit of an outlier on this list – they specialize in travel and adventure video editing, and they take it very seriously. They run their own blog and have designed their own camera gear in the past.

You shot hours and hours of footage on your last trip, but it’s a bright mix of phone, drone, 360° or action-cam footage and a high-end camera? Spivo’s editors have you covered.

Combining various formats with fluid transitions and adventure storytelling is their bread and butter.

The Editor's Connection

The Editor’s Connection is a Mexico-based video and photo editing company. They serve customers of all sizes, from solo creators to agencies – even freelance editors who themselves want to outsource tedious scutwork.

The included photo editing is you’re in a video-and-photo heavy niche, like ecommerce or realty, or work on Instagram.

Speaking of Instagram: The short video services are focused on Reels, and there’s a separate Reels starter subscription.

The Editor’s Connection uses a subscription model, with the main tiers ranging from $649 to $1,999 monthly. A Reels-only membership is just $119 a month. There are discounts for quarterly and semi-annual payments.

Rav.ai

Are you an AI enthusiast? Want to do more than generate a bunch of thumbnails? Then you might want to check out Rav.ai when it comes to editing your videos.

A stand-out on this list, this company harnesses artificial intelligence to edit and upload videos. Users can upload raw footage and audio and receive an AI edit almost immediately. This distinguishes it from the more common AI tools human video editors use in their workflow.

The algorithm Rav.ai uses takes popular videos as an inspiration when it comes to selecting cuts, transitions, effects, and music. Which does mean inconsistency on one hand, and a certain blandness on the other.

You can also specify a video you want the AI to use as a blueprint. Plus, you can submit the resulting video for revisions until you’re satisfied.

Clipmasters

Next up, Clipmasters is an unlimited video editing services headquartered in Antwerp, Belgium.

Clipmasters has a solid range when it comes to social media video, especially vertical formats like YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.

The “Scale” plan can be a good deal if you have the volume (though video length is capped at 60 minutes). The cheaper “Grow” plan has its limitations: The turnaround is longer, which also limits how many videos you can get edited a month. While thumbnails and video templates are included, they’re not custom-made.

Visugu

Visugu is another versatile video editing service. Their offer ranges from editing travel and YouTube videos to wedding videos and training videos.

Like other services on this list, Visugu is primarily an video editing subscription, though there’s also a per-video rate of $249 per job. Turnaround times vary depending on the complexity of edits and the pricing tier, but start at two days.

If you’re looking for a solid all-purpose video editing service, Visugu is a reliable choice. If you need specialized niche work, you might want to look elsewhere.

Irisbits

Another solid video editing option in 2026 is Irisbits. This UK-based video editing and graphic design company offers a wide range of services, from 4K video editing to thumbnail and banner design.

Their unlimited video editing offer includes a 1-2 day turnaround time and unlimited revisions. Apart from businesses and agencies, Irisbits particularly caters to the needs of content creators.

Motion Edits

Do you want to include complex 2D and 3D animations in your videos? Then Motion Edits may be a good video editing option for you. This company offers not just regular video editing, but a wide range of animation services as well.

Their portfolio includes explainer videos, educational videos, infographics videos, and even 3D character animation.

They offer a pretty wide range of genres and niches when it comes to video editing. Even if you only need no-frills, straightforward edits, Motion Edits is a solid option for you.

Vidpros

One of Vidpros’ key selling points is “overnight” editing – submit an order before the end of the US business day, and you’ll get your draft on the next (as long as it’s not too complex).

They also have an internal limit of four clients per editor. This lets the editors dedicate more time to each project. As a result, you can expect a more personalized service.

The first time we put together this list, Vidpros used to provide pretty flexible packages. This then changed to what it calls “fractional” video editing: You get a dedicated editor and a set amount of hours per working day. For 2 hours a day, this is $1,000/month. For 8 hours a day, it’s $3,000/month.

For heavy users and resellers, there are custom-priced agency plans.

Phixer

Phixer has a very specific niche: It provides digital services for real estate companies. This notably includes video editing for realtors, but also photo editing and virtual staging.

In order to access Phixer’s video editing services, you need to sign up for an account and purchase a monthly plan. The prices are no longer public, but used to range from $475 to $2,550 per month.

Included in the plan are credits for photo editing, but you need to pay extra for video edits. This fee is typically $65 for an HD video export, and an additional $29 for Ultra HD 4K.

Standard turnaround time is 48 hours, though you can get the rush option for $15 and have a first draft after 24h.

CutPro Media

Next up is CutPro Media, a company that specializes in video editing for weddings, real estate, and commercial purposes.

They provide a $250 flat-rate video editing package that includes up to 5 minutes of edited video, color correction, and a 24-hour turnaround. In addition, users can specify parameters such as the video editing software they want editors to use, the editing style, frame rate, and expected delivery date.

A small downside is that wedding video editing makes up a major part of the company’s business and many of their systems – such as add-ons for “entrances and first dances” – are geared towards it.

If that’s what you’re looking for, though, you’re in luck – wedding videos are a bit cheaper, starting at $200.

Havah Edits

Next on the list is Havah Edits, another real estate video editing company. Much like Phixer, it offers multiple additional services. Beside video editing, they also work with you on virtual staging, virtual dusk and twilight, and photo editing.

They boast a 24-hour turnaround period and allow customers to provide style examples.

Vidchops

Vidchops is a no-nonsense editing company – you’ll get your edits quickly and without paying an arm and a leg, but don’t expect any bells and whistles.

Their editors will work on your videos one-at-a-time. The maximum number depends on your subscription.

There are three subscription tiers. The highest essentially gives you a 40h/week full-time editor, an account manager, and fast turnarounds.

The other two tiers are based on “credits” – where 1 credit is either 1 long-form video or 4 short-form ones. You get either 4 or 8 credits a month. There are some limits here: Three revisions, max 15 minutes final video, and max 45 minutes of raw footage.

Vidchops also offers a “YouTube helper” service as an add-on. This takes care of thumbnailing, tagging, description writing and similar YouTube housekeeping.

Flatworld Solutions

Flatworld Solutions is a global company offering a huge range of business outsourcing solutions. That includes video editing. With global delivery centers in India and the Philippines, they can work as fast as editing 2 simple videos in 24 hours.

Video stabilization, color and light correction and noise removal are all part of their standard video editing offer. You can also purchase add-ons such as subtitles, special effects, and background music.

One downside: Pricing is on an hourly basis, starting at $12/hour. That means it’s difficult to calculate your video editing budget in advance.

BeCreatives

Lithuania-based BeCreatives have a good range of features, though some of them are pricey add-ons. They can boast of a large roster of testimonials from well-known entrepreneurs. They’re best suited for vertical videos, not complex or high quality horizontal edits.

A new service is oriented towards personal branding for people who don’t want to be full-time creators.

KIMP

Launched in 2019 in Canada, KIMP started out as a simple graphic design company. Now, it has expanded to include a wide array of services, including video editing, with team members across the world.

They offer a graphic design subscription, a video editing subscription, as well as a combined subscription.

Unlike many other services offering “unlimited” video editing, they will work on two tasks at the same time. On the combined video editing and graphic design subscription, the Kimp team will work on two graphics and two videos simultaneously.

Increditors

Another all-round service is Increditors, with a comprehensive team of video editors, animators, motion designers, and artists. Working for companies and agencies as well as individual creators, this video editing company provides a huge range of post-production services, including color grading, visual effects, sound design, and creating animated explainers.

Heads up: Increditors is very clear that they do not work with low-budget clients. Nor with low-quality footage for that matter. If you’re a rookie YouTuber without great equipment, you’ll want to look somewhere else.

While you should ask for a quote for most services, there are single-project trials as well as quarterly and annual subscriptions available specifically for video editing, shorts editing, and thumbnail editing. There are four tiers (from “Simple” to “Custom”), which relate mostly to how long and complex the edit is.

Unlimited Video Editing

Another entry on our list of the best video editing services is a company called simply Unlimited Video Editing. Here, you get a dedicated video editor, a project manager and, well, an unlimited video editing subscription

Additional services include captions and subtitles, thumbnails, and content curation, though they depend on which monthly subscription option you choose.

Unlimited Video Editing has shrunk its offer to two pricing tiers. The “Unlimited” subscription at $2,500 per month will get you unlimited requests and revisions, with a 1-2 day standard turnaround time, and subtitles.

The “Unlimited+” subscription is $3,000 per month. The plus here: thumbnails, uploading to platforms, and optimized titles and captions.

The video editors will work on projects one at a time, but you can stack subscriptions to get more done.

EditCrew

Also at the higher-priced end of video editing services is EditCrew. Based in Colombia, they cater to the needs of creators and businesses in English and Spanish.

EditCrew prides themselves on a fast 1–2 day turnaround (24 hours for revisions), as well as within-the-hour communication. Basically, they’re at your beck and call whenever you need them.

A monthly subscription will buy you a personal video editor, project manager, and creative producer. You’ll also get subtitles, licensed music and footage, and the Adobe project files. Plus, EditCrew offers a 14 day satisfaction guarantee.

EditCrew offers two different subscription options – Essentials and Pro. The two main differences between them are how much time your editor spends on your projects and how fast turnaround times are.

The Essentials plan gives you a part-time editor, who’ll dedicate 15 hours per week to your projects, and a 1-2 day turnaround time. In contrast, the Pro plan guarantees you a full-time video editor (40 h / week), as well as same-day turnaround (on simpler projects).

Lightning Video Editors

Headquartered in the Netherlands – in Amsterdam and Rotterdam – Lightning Video Editors describes itself as a video tech agency.

Its client list includes big business names like KPMG and Coca Cola as well as a range of government clients, such as the British Council.

As the name suggests, the company is going all in on speed, leaning heavily on proprietary AI tools to do. This also serves to reduce costs – at least for its enterprise customers.

The multinational team can also offer video, video editing, and voiceovers in English, Dutch, French, and German – all by native speakers.

If that sounds a little too high-powered for a solo YouTube channel, you’d be right: The target are startups, corporates, and other agencies.

If you are, however, using YouTube as a launchpad for your big business idea, Lightning Video Editors’ full service offer might be a good choice. Especially if you’re going international.

But there is, in fact, a less involved option, specifically for course creators. This goes together with a webinar, and offers single-video and five-video packs for talking-head style videos.

Digifloat

The last service on our 2026 list of picks is Digifloat. It’s not just a video editing, but a full business design service. If you’ve got the budget and an entire brand to launch, they’re a great choice for you.

When it comes to editing, Digifloat offers motion design, VFX, color correction, animations, captions, and a large range of transitions. Plus, you can also request thumbnails, vertical reformats, GIFs, and any other digital marketing materials you may need.

Video editing services are available under Digifloat’s Agency plan, which comes at $999/month.

FAQs

The best video editing services in 2026 for creators, entrepreneurs, and businesses are Tasty Edits, Replayed, and Video Husky.
Video editing services need to have an extensive portfolio, fast turnaround times, professional editors, transparent pricing, and reviews or testimonials from past clients.
Start by checking out the portfolio of different services and make sure that they’ve edited projects like yours before. Then compare pricing and verify there are no hidden costs, such as fine print on “unlimited” video editing or additional charges for exports in different formats.
Most video editing services include transitions, color and sound correction, jump cuts, and license-free music. Some companies also include thumbnail creation, special effects, motion design, animations, and captions. What exactly is included in standard video editing pricing can vary massively between services – compare carefully.
The easiest way to hire a video editor is by opting for a video editing service. Unlike freelance editors, video editing services have vetted team members and a manager to ensure quality control. Plus, it’s easy to check the portfolios and reviews of video editing companies.
How much it will cost to hire someone to edit a YouTube video will depend on the complexity of the edits you need and the length of your video. You can expect pricing for a standard horizontal video to start at around $300.
